Terms & Conditions

General terms for website use and tiling service arrangements with Artistic Tiling & Stones.

1. Quotes and Scope

Project scope, inclusions, exclusions, pricing and estimated timing are set out in the written quote accepted by the customer. Website descriptions are general and do not form a project quote.

2. Pricing and Payment

Pricing and payment stages are those shown in the accepted quote or invoice. Additional work is not included unless agreed as a variation.

3. Site Access and Customer Responsibilities

The customer must provide safe and reasonable access to the work area, disclose known site issues, confirm selections when requested and ensure other trades or occupants do not prevent scheduled work.

4. Variations and Hidden Conditions

Unexpected substrate damage, moisture, structural movement, unsuitable previous work or other concealed conditions may require a change to scope, price or timing. Variations will be discussed before additional work proceeds where reasonably possible.

5. Materials

Natural stone and manufactured tiles may vary in shade, pattern, calibration and texture. Reasonable variation is not necessarily a defect. Availability and lead times may also affect scheduling.

6. Scheduling and Delays

Dates are arranged in good faith and may change because of weather, material availability, site readiness, variations, illness or circumstances outside reasonable control. We will communicate material scheduling changes.

7. Changes and Cancellation

Requests to change or cancel accepted work should be made promptly. Any applicable cost will reflect the accepted quote, work already completed, materials ordered and rights available under law.

8. Workmanship and Consumer Rights

Services are provided with due care and skill. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies consumer guarantees or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Website Use

You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation or reproduce protected content without permission.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, subject to any mandatory rights that apply.
